Giving

At TBC, we believe giving honors God, and we should give proportionately, willingly, intentionally, and joyfully.

1 Timothy 6:17-18 “As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. 18 They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, 19 thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.”

Proverbs 3:9 “Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce;”

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 “The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”

1 Corinthians 16:1-2 1 “Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do. 2 On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.”

How Can I Give?

Give In Person

Sundays – drop your check or cash in the offering plate as it goes by during the morning announcements, or take it to the Welcome Desk before or after the service.

During the week – checks can be mailed to the church office, or stop by Monday – Thursday between 8am and 5pm and drop it off.

Give Online

Giving online is a convenient and easy way to give – whether a one time gift or an automatically recuring monthly gift.  You can use your checking account, debit card, or credit card. You can make your online gift go even further by covering the cost of our processing fees if you are using a credit or debit card; simply click “+ add more” and add 3% of your gift to the Processing Fee fund.

Non-Cash Giving

TBC is able to receive various forms of investments, such as stock or other non-cash assets such as distribution from IRAs and donor advised funds.  Please contact our Finance Director for more information.

Gift Matching Programs

Many companies will match your charitable gifts.  Check with your employer to see if your company participates in this way.

TBC Merchandise

Benevolence – “desire to do good to others; goodwill; charitableness”
TBC Merch has been created to assist in funding our Benevolence Ministry.  This ministry comes alongside those within our church body and community with financial difficulties.  Your purchases from the TBC Merch store, along with donations specifically designated to Benevolence, fund this ministry.
