We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine, eternal Person, having intellect, emotions, and will of His own in submission to the Father and the Son. We believe the present ministry of the Holy Spirit is restraining sin in the world, convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates believers in Christ, baptizes them into the church, indwells them permanently, seals them for the day of redemption, grants spiritual gifts to each one, and fills those yielded to Him. We believe the Bible to be inspired, inerrant, sufficient, and authoritative. Because of that, we look to the Scriptures as our guide for all of life and our primary source of knowing God and His will for us. (See Section 1 of our Full Doctrinal Statement).

We believe that all of humanity is created in the image of God but is marred by sin, which separates us from God. We are all sinners by nature and choice. (See Section 3 of our Full Doctrinal Statement).

We believe that salvation is a gift of God bringing us the forgiveness of sins. This gift is received by faith alone, in Christ alone, who died for our sins and rose again. Since this gift is received by faith and not our work or effort, it is sustained by God and cannot be lost (See Section 5 and 7 of our Full Doctrinal Statement).
